Obituary of Amelie Julia Allen

Amelie Julia Allen was born on February 23, 1934 and went on to her heavenly resting place on July 28, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband Harvey and daughter Cecily, she leaves behind to cherish her memory five children, Jeffrey, Jocelyn, Joanne, Carla (King) and Stephen, two grandchildren, Jessica and Jared and beloved dog Rajah. She served as a department manager for the City of Detroit for 26 years and a Precinct Delegate for 4 years. She was a faithful member of St. Lukes Catholic Church for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, of which she was a longtime supporter.
