Obituary of Anthony G. Schad

Anthony George Schad passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2020, at age 79. Tony is survived by his wife Phyllis Ann Schad, nee Carnahan. He is survived by his two sisters Klara Schad and Gloria deBeauclair. He has four children, Deborah Schad, AJ (Michelle) Schad, David Schad, and Nickolas (Lindsay Petersen) Schad. He has four grandchildren, Schad, Joshua, Jack and Elizabeth.

Tony was born to Anthony and Vitina Schad in 1941 and raised in Detroit. He graduated from Cass Tech High School and worked as an engineer in the automotive industry. Tony had many friends through French and Indian war re-enactments and from the gym. He was a world traveler with his wife Phyllis and their adventurous friends to places like Uruguay, Croatia, and Germany. He loved to bake and spend quality time with his grandchildren.
