Obituary of Barbara Ann Vosler

Barbara Ann Vosler passed away on April 23, 2017 at the age of 88. Barbara was born November 5, 1928 to Henry and Mabel Siegrist on their family farm in Mason, Michigan where she grew up. She graduated from high school and attended Lansing Business University where she met Harold, the love of her life. They were married on January 17, 1948 at Holt Presbyterian Church. They began their married life in Lansing, Michigan but later moved to Alma. Barbara worked for several years at Gratiot Community Hospital but the main focus of her life was her family. Together, she and Harold raised five children: Sandra (Charles) Waldon, Dean (the late Mary) Vosler, Michael Vosler, Kathleen (Kirk) Kuhn, and Marc (Pam) Vosler. They cherished their thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren along with their nieces and nephews, all of whom were very special to them. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mabel Siegrist, brother, James Siegrist, sisters, Jane and Mary Ellen Siegrist and Dorothy Moore, brother-in-law Ken Moore, sister-in-law Jo Moore, daughter-in-law Mary Vosler and husband Harold. Private family services will be held at a later date where their ashes will be placed in the memory garden at Holt Presbyterian Church where they began their life together. Memorial gifts may be made to the memory care unit at the Michigan Masonic Home, Alma, Michigan or to the Holt Presbyterian Church, Holt, Michigan.
