Obituary of Barbara Ann Wright

Barbara Ann Wright, 83, of Dryden, MI (formerly of Detroit) was called home by her heavenly Father on April 15, 2015. Barbara was born on May 8, 1931 to parents Robert and Linda Williams. She graduated from Cooley High School in 1949. She married Bruce D. Wright on April 23, 1954, and looked forward to their 61st anniversary next week.

Barbara was very generous with her time and many talents. She was involved in church, scouts, school, Red Cross and multiple other causes. Barbara loved to read, sew, knit, garden and travel. She especially enjoyed her pets and time with family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy, son James and daughter BethAnn.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Bruce, daughter Rebecca (Donald) Wilson, son Duncan Wright, grandchildren Sean (Jennifer) McMeans, Elise (fiance Edward) McMeans, Blake Weil, great granddaughter Emma McMeans, brother Robert (Dorothy) Williams, sister in law Nancy MacPherson, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Barbara's life is planned for June 20, 2015 in her gardens
