Obituary of Betty Jane Johns

Betty Jane Johns passed away September 13, 2010. She was born in 1924 in Canton, Ohio. Betty was a majorette during her high school years and went on to sing professionally during the 1940's. Later she enjoyed a career in retail sales. Betty passed quietly with her son and daughter at her bedside after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud (Dewilt) in 2008. Betty is survived by her loving daughter Patricia Rock of Harrison Township, and son Mark Stack of Florida. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and three great great granddaughters: having brought her ancestry to five generations, as well as one great great grandson through marriage. She is also survived by her sister Marjorie Sack of Canton, Ohio. Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where a memorial service will be held, Saturday September 25, 2010 at 12:30 PM; 8130 Chapp Street, Warren Michigan. Donations may be addressed to the family to contribute at her wishes.
