Obituary of Betty Lucille Rusnack

Betty Lucille Rusnack, passed away July 22, 2013. She was born December 28, 1921 in Detroit, MI, raised in Highland Park, MI, and long-time resident of Grosse Pointe Woods. Wife of Victor Rusnack; and daughter of Ernest Siewert and Martha Fredericka Dahms.

Betty graduated from Highland Park High School, Judson College in Alabama, and received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Betty was a social worker and community organizer, having worked for the Detroit League for the handicapped and as a professor at Wayne State University. She was a member of Services for Older Citizens in Grosse Pointe and was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.

A memorial service, followed by lunch, will be held on Saturday August 10, 2013, at 11 am, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Harper Woods.
