Obituary of Charles Wakefield Modrack

Charles Wakefield Modrack, age 88, died November 14, 2010, of Farmington Hills formerly of Bloomfield Hills. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Green and his brother William. Father of Charles Jr., Christiane (Lad Guest), Leslie (Peter Brower), Matthew (Barbara Arno) and grandfather to Lucia Modrack and Zachary Boerger, Jamison and Nicholas Guest, Cobleigh and Josephine Modrack . Principled, curious and compassionate, he possessed a keen intellect and tenacity for independence through his last days. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, graduate of Grosse Pointe High School, attended Albion College and graduated from Northwestern University's School of Commerce. Served in WWII as a Second Lt. In the US Army. Lifelong career as Sales Manager for Perry Printing Company, Flint MI. Summer resident of Skegemog Point, Williamsburg, MI. Member of Birmingham Unitarian Church. A private memorial is planned for Charles' family and friends. Memorials may be directed to The Nature Conservancy 101 East Grand River Lansing, MI 48906
