Charlton Spencer-Raymone Jefferson

Charlton Spencer-Raymone Jefferson, 52, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on March 6, 2026. He was born on November 21, 1973, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to Raymone Jefferson and Veronica Leigh Jefferson.

Charlton graduated from Cody High School in 1991. He was known for his friendly and outgoing personality, his love of music, and his natural ability to make people laugh. He was the kind of man who waved at every neighbor and treated friends like family. Charlton met his life partner, Devona Moore, during childhood when they were neighbors. Their bond grew into a lasting relationship, and they had been together since October 23, 2010. Together, they built a life filled with movies, music, cooking, and dancing.

He worked as a cook at places he held dear, including Fire Mountain and Opus One, and later in life served as a dedicated caretaker. Charlton enjoyed wrestling, movies, music, grilling, playing pool, and darts. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends. He had a warm spirit, a joyful sense of humor, and a way of making everyone around him feel welcome.

He leaves to cherish his memory his life partner, Devona Moore; his children, Charay Smith, LeAndre Jefferson, Bobby Lee Sealy, Kiana Jefferson, Julianna Stevens, Eugene Lockwood, Destiny Lockwood, and Lucas Moore; his grandchildren, Sage Altieri, Elias Lockwood, DeAndre Carrington, Harmony Carrington, Kyree Carrington, Jeremiah Smith, Sebastian Penzien, Ever-Lyra Blue Jefferson, Zachariah Howard Harmon, Denver Rain Harmon, Andrea Washington, Gianna Polidori, Sonny Stevens, Forest Stevens, and Xyara Lockwood; his mother, Veronica Jefferson; his brothers, Daniel Jefferson and Robert Jefferson; his sisters, April Jefferson and Regina Garrett; and his beloved dog, Marvel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymone Jefferson and several other loved ones that he cherished and kept alive through his stories with his children.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Cremation Society of Michigan, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, MI 48135, from 11am to 12:30pm with a memorial service beginning at 12:30pm.
