Obituary of Clara Mabel Keyes

Clara Mabel Keyes (Kilbourn, Carlisle) 68, died on Oct. 30th, 2017 in her home in Oxford, surrounded by her family. Born to Owen Reginald & Ilia Mae Keys in Clifford, Michigan on March 6, 1949. Clara was raised in North Branch and graduated with the class of 1967. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Allen Keys, son Donald Lee Kilbourn Jr., husbands Donald Lee Kilbourn and Randolph Lee Carlisle. She is survived by 2 brothers Charles and Robert, 2 sisters Catheryn and Virginia, her children Kevin (Sherry) Kilbourn, Michael L. Kilbourn, Karrie (Jeffery) Cullen, Marci (Roy) Coates, her 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Claras greatest joys in life were God, family and friends, Detroit Tigers and spending time with her oldest granddaughter Breana and cat, Bob. Her hardworking and giving nature along with her strong faith shaped the family she raised and the love she shared is how she will be remembered. Service and Mass is being held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 715 N. Lapeer Rd in Lake Orion.
