Obituary of Dante S. Giardini, Jr.

Dante S. Giardini, Age 89, of Dearborn Hts., died November 18, 2011. He was married 59 years to his beloved Virginia Lee Cochenour, who preceded him in death in 2006. Loving and beloved father of Debra Vuckovich, Sandra Giardini and Sheri Giardini. Cherished brother of Adrienne "Mitzi" Wittenborn.

He was a decorated veteran of WWII, serving 6 years in the Army Air Corps, attaining rank of Master Sergeant. During his working life, Dante was a Research Engineer, who retired from Ford Motor Company with hundreds of patents to his credit throughout his career.

In honor of his life-long love of animals, memorial donations may be made to Michigan Humane Society. ( www.michiganhumane.org )

A private memorial mass will be held.
