Dawn Marie Johnson

Dawn Marie Johnson, age 62, a resident of Garden City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at her home in Garden City, Michigan.

Dawn was born on March 14, 1964, in Wayne, Michigan, to the late Michael Lloyd Slack and Joan Marie Slack. She was a member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl, Mississippi. Dawn enjoyed spending time with her family, watching football, and playing with her beloved pets.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Slack; her two children, Jennifer Haffner (Josh) and James Johnson; her four siblings, Michael Slack (Renee), Michelle Shawley (Gary), Steve Slack (Tina), and Teri Boldiszar; her beloved grandson, Hudson Gonzalez and also many nieces and nephews.
