Dona Lou Kremer (Slater) 80, passed away at her home in Clinton Township, MI on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Dona was born February 25, 1936 to Carlton and Isabella Slater, she would meet the love of her life Donald J. Kremer and marry him on February 14, 1958. A devoted wife, mother and sister, she was an accomplished seamstress and was involved with a local quilting guild until her death. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Donald, parents Carlton and Isabella Slater and sister Shirley Grassmick. Dona will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Susan (Paul) Kulongowski; Doug (Lorraine) Kremer and Barbara (Mike) Vondra; her grandchildren Amber and Holly Vondra; her brother, Carlton (Sue) Slater; her sisters, Alice Moore; and Nancy Watz; step grandchildren Todd Mckim and Jennifer (Jim) Troeger; and great step granddaughters Abigail and Alyssa Troeger. At her request, funeral service will be a private event for immediate family only. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
