Donald Henry Beebe

Donald Henry Beebe, age 91, of St. Clair Shores, Ml, passed away on April 8, 2026.  Donald's life was marked by dedication, perseverance, and a deep commitment to his family and community. In 1956, he was baptized and, just two weeks later, made his First Communion on his wedding day. A decade later, in 1966, he celebrated his Confirmation alongside his nine-year-old son.

Donald was a proud graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, earning his diploma in 1953. He went on to pursue higher education at Wayne State University, attending part-­time from 1953 to 1966 while working full-time and raising a family. His determination paid off when he achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry after thirteen years of study.

In 1972, Donald became a Certified Junior Bowling Coach and devoted the next twenty years to volunteering, teaching, and coaching children of all ages in the sport. His professional career spanned thirty-eight years in Quality Assurance as a Chemist in the

Beverage Industry, culminating in his retirement in 1994. Donald cherished spending quality time with his family up north and found joy in activities such as sailing, camping, dancing, hunting, and bowling. Even in his nineties, he remained active, especially enjoying hunting and bowling. He was an accomplished bowler, proudly achieving a perfect 300 game.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Joanne (Barnowsky) Beebe; their children, Steven (Barb) Beebe, Donna (Sam) Corace, and Michele (Keith) Murray; 5 grandchildren, Kristopher, Nicole, Jasmine, Stephanie, and Allyson; and 2 great-grandchildren Sophia and Indigo.
