A lifelong resident of the Ann Arbor area, Dorian touched the lives of many through her uniqueness and strong spirit. She was the beloved daughter of Dean and Doris Douthat of Saline and sister of Denise Dibbs of Canton and Douglas Douthat of Inkster. She is also survived by nephews Chris Dibbs of Boston, Massachussetts and Michael Dibbs of Ypsilanti, nieces Becky Dibbs of Rockwall, Texas, Dakota and Phoenix Douthat of Inkster, aunts Mary Bartholet of Seattle, Washington and Patty Gillenwater of Hot Springs, Arkansas, uncle Harold Nigg of Charleston, South Carolina; as well as a half dozen cousins. She was preceded in death by her older brother Daniel Douthat and dear uncle Raymond Nigg.
After living with her family for 19 years, Dorian was a resident of Glengarry House in Ann Arbor Township for 9 years and Judd house in Saline for 25 years. She formed many bonds and friendships with other residents and staff and brought vitality to her living situation, to the "Just Us Club" program she participated in and to her family. She lived a full life and will be missed.
