Obituary of Doris Mae Heinonen

Doris Mae Heinonen Age 91, of Livonia/Commerce. Left this world on July 16, 2016.

Devoted and loving wife of the late Donald G. Beloved Mother of Donald (Nancy), Dennis (Song), Cheryl, and Marc. Dearest sister-in-law of Marilyn. Cherished Grandmother of Laura (Randy) Shell, Kevin (Pam), Carrie, Scott, Amy (Matt) Dimmer, Lauren (Lee) Downs, and Taylor. Lovingly known as "GG", she was great-grandmother to Megan, Michael, Matthew, Ruby, Eric , Lucy, Jake and Jaxon. She was born in the city of New Orleans and moved to Detroit in her early teens, with her Mother, Louise Mollo, Father Victor Mollo and her sister, Marie Louise. A very quiet and shy girl, she soon met and married the love of her life, Don. Married at age 17, she spent her life raising her children and creating a warm and loving home for her family, which lasted a lifetime.

A celebration of her life will be held on August 28, 2016 at 3:30 at the Uptown Grille, 3100 E. West Maple Rd. Commerce Twp. Michigan, 48390.
