Obituary of Dorothy Ann Bucon

Dorothy Bucon, nee Glowczewski. Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2014 at her home with her family at her side. Dorothy was 95 and lived a full and productive life and left a lifetime of beautiful memories that will be cherished forever by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Marion, daughter, Marian (Peannie), son in law Ron Chevalier and daughter in law Ilene Bucon. She is survived by her children Stan, Joe (Barbara) Bucon and Pat Chevalier. Grandmother to Lisa (Tom) Maresh, Kevin and Brian Bucon, Dave (Joy), Tom (Carole) Chevalier and Debbie (Ken) McHugh. Great grandmother to Abigail, Alex, Caitlyn, Chris, Colin, David, Emily B., Emily C., Jessica C., Jessica H., Logan, Matt, Michael, Nick, Scott and Zack. Great great grandmother to Dante', James, Mason and Oliver. Dorothy loved to crochet and made numerous afghans and bed socks for friends and relatives. She loved making sequined holiday pinups and was known by many as "The Pin-up Lady". She loved going to bingo, playing the lotto and the casino was her favorite place to pass the time away. Dorothy had a sharp mind, beautiful spirit and left a legacy of un-conditional selfless love and will be greatly missed. A mass and luncheon will be planned in the spring and family and friends will be notified.
