Obituary of Dorothy Marion Eagle

Dorothy Marion (Lehr) Eagle, of Dearborn, passed away on January 3, 2017. Dorothy was a beloved wife of 69 cherished years, and is survived by her husband, Francis. She was the loving mother of Ahlene (John) Zureki and Francine (Rick) Snow. She was a dear grandmother to John, Jason, Bree, and Caitlin; and proud great-grandmother to John, Kendra, Skylar, and Lilianna. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean (Lehr) Steiner of Livonia, as well as her parents Charles and Marion Lehr of Dearborn.

Dorothy graduated from Melvindale High School in 1940 and worked in Melvindale public schools for many years. Loved by many for her kindness, Dorothy died peacefully of natural causes at home in Henry Ford Village in Dearborn. Cremation is planned with a final resting place in Michigan Memorial Park, arrangements by the Cremation Society of Michigan.
