Dorothy Virginia Kress, born October 27, 1925, and passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, on April 5, 2013. She was 87. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on August 27, 2008. They were married for over 56 years. She was the loving mother of Steve (Cheryl) Kress, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Gary Kress of Cary, NC and Tracey (Cliff) Chaffee of Cary, NC. Dear grandmother of Cristy (Dave) Joslin, Colin, David, and Evan Kress. Great grandmother of Taylor and Aaron Joslin; and Valentine Belle, Mary Jane and Evan Charles Kress, Jr. A memorial service was held at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Cary, NC
