Obituary of Douglas Shaw Law

Law (Douglas) 94, resident of Howell, MI, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017. Beloved husband of Fern (Jackson) Law and the late Sarah (Sally) Law. Please join us on September 19, 2017 for a memorial service at 12 a.m. (visitation 11:00 a.m.) held at the Milford Presbyterian Church, located at 238 N. Main St., Milford, MI. Cremation has taken place and private interment will follow at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. Doug served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army during the rebuilding of Korea after the Second World War. During his career, he was a commercial and custom residential builder for his business Law Builders for many years with his family. Doug was a member of Milford Presbyterian Church, former member of First Presbyterian Church of Howell, and Greenfield Presbyterian Church. Doug is survived by Douglas Law of Florida, Victor (Lisa) Law of Hartland, Evelyn (William) Hall, David (Shelley) Law, and William (Sandra) Law all from Howell. Doug had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial tributes may be made to a charity of donors choice in lieu of flowers.
