Obituary of Dwight Roy Rogers

Dwight Roy Rogers Age 71, of Wixom, Michigan, fun-loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully December 11, 2012, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born August 1, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Helen I. and Reuben R. Rogers. Dwight is survived by his wife, Judith; daughters, Debra (Christopher) Shegich, Brenda (Brendan) Brosnan and Amanda Rogers; stepsons Dale and Marc (Courtney) Collins; grandsons, Dylan and Chase Brosnan, Ryan Shegich and Reuben Collins; brother, Gordon (Karen) Rogers and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was a great man. We will all miss his antics, love of life, one-of-a-kind character and twinkly, kind eyes.

Visitation Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. until Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Oak Pointe Church, 50200 West Ten Mile Road, Novi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Stroke Foundation (www.stroke.org).
