Ella Rexine Michalak

Ella Rexine Michalak (Reckie), Plymouth MI, age 77, passed away October 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Reckie was born in Highland Park on February 21, 1944. She was raised by her dear grandmother, Ella (Ma) Blackford and uncle, Elvin W. Clark.

Reckie was a devoted wife (Dennis Michalak-married in 1966), mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a caring, intelligent, and kind woman with an amazing sense of humor.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by the lives of her children: Stacey A. Roberts (Russell Roberts), Denell R. Bruyere (David Thomas), Jean Weiss (Daniel Weiss): seven grandchildren; John Miller, Joshua Stoeckle, Tristin Bruyere, Evan Bruyere, Abigail Bruyere (Garrett), Lauren Roberts, Alexander Roberts; dear sister Sandra Finch as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice.
