Kornfield, Eugene died October 26, 2015. Husband of the late Rita Ann Kornfield; father of Dr. Lee M. Kornfield (Jane), Susan M. Kornfield and Nancy Kornfield; grandfather of Sarah Kornfield (David Kelly), David Kornfield (Lauren Rock), Michael Kornfield, and Katie Kornfield; sister of Sylvia Kasoff (Herman) and brother of the late Morris Kornfield and Edward Kornfield; son of the late Joseph and Margaret Kornfield.
Eugene had many lifelong friends who were very dear to him. He was an animal advocate who adopted many rescue dogs, and his dog Gracie was an important part of his family.
Friends and family will be gathering at the home of Nancy Kornfield on Friday, from 3-7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Greyhound Connection or the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
