She was brought up to love music and a beautiful flower garden. At one time she was married to Jacob Ray Jr and after moving to Detroit she became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1972 with the loving aid of Mildred Heflin and JoRoy and Mildred Smith. She was an amazing and delightful pianist, and organist. At the age of 84 she had the privelage of entertaining on her synthesizer the song "Working Together In Unity " for the Delagates present for the 2014 International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses held in Detroit Michigan during entertainment night. It brought amazing joy, with a standing applause but as always, she gave all credit to her God Jehovah. A scripture she loved and used at her brothers funeral was Isaiah 26:19 that reads "Your dead will live My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust!
