Obituary of Frederick Lange Bishop

Frederick Lange Bishop February 23, 1941 to September 7, 2013

Fred passed away peacefully at Huron Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He worked for Walled Lake Schools and retired in 2001. He was an active member of the Eagles Club. A former member of the VFW and Elks Clubs. Fred and Sharon were long time residents in their summer home in Alpena.

Proceeded in death by his wife, Sharon (Gieger); his parents, Donald and Jeanne Bishop and his brother, Donald.

Survived by his daughter, Shannon Marie Bishop. Grandchildren, Zachary (Heather) Bishop; Tanica (Jeremy) Ewing. Great grandchildren; Ayden, Carson and Peyton. Sisters; Connie (Steven) Godfrey, Merri Carol Wozniak and Jill (David) Mercer. Brother in-law Garret (Carol) Gieger. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. And his devoted dog, Daisy.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held at the Walled Lake Eagles #3492, 1721 Glengary Rd., Walled Lake, Friday, September 27, 2013 from 4 - 8 p.m.
