Obituary of Gary Joseph Dessinger

It's with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Gary Dessinger. He passed peacefully surrounded by family at his home in St. Clair Shores, MI. He was an extraordinary individual that touched many lives and lived life to its fullest. After serving his country honorably in the United States Army, Mr. Dessinger taught chemistry for the Detroit public school system for over 30 years. He helped shape the minds of many during this time. At 79 years of age Mr. Dessinger was still very active, he loved tennis, pickle ball, biking, snow skiing, and traveling with his family. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. Dessinger is survived by his Daughter Joyce Wilkins (Alan), Keith Dessinger (Sally), and Todd Dessinger (Jenny). Along with 15 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
