Obituary of George W. Mikkola

George W. Mikkola Age 86, February 5, 2016.

Beloved husband of the late Lois Mikkola. Loving father of David (Connie) and Mary Mikkola. Dear grandfather of Natalie.

George was born and raised in the Houghton Hancock area of the upper peninsula. He was a Korean War Veteran and a life long avid golfer and was a Journeyman Tool Maker with General Motors. George was also an active and longtime member of Prince of Glory Lutheran Church, which became his second family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Prince of Glory Lutheran Church, 1357 W. 14 Mile Rd., Madison Heights, Saturday, February 20th at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
