Obituary of Geraldine Sundeen

Geraldine Sundeen, "GiGi" Always full of adventure, love and laughter, passed on August 14th, 2017 of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 7th, 1927 in Lansing, Mi. Always creative, full of new ideas, Geri could accomplish anything she set her mind to…and she did. She worked for Michigan Bell and then AT&T until she retired. She loved to travel anywhere and everywhere by any means, however, she loved her cruises most of all. She was always the entertainer and loved the stage. As a teenager she sang with a band, and in her 30s she joined the Sweet Adelines singing with them for over 40 years.

She never lacked for friends, as she was a friend to all and would do anything for you. But above all of her wonderful qualities, she was a mother first…our Mother. All of our friends called her "mom". We were, and still are blessed beyond words by her unconditional love and forever friendship. She was always there for us…and still is. She is greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughter Rebecca Sundeen, her son Richard Sundeen and her grandson Luke Sundeen.

A Memorial will be held at The Foster Community Center at 200 N. Foster Ave., Lansing, MI 48912 on Saturday. October 28th, 2017 from 1-3 pm.
