Gerrard L. "Jerry" Gumbleton

Passed away peacefully at his home in Farmington Hills, MI with his loving family at his side on Monday July 9th. Born & raised in Detroit, MI July 22, 1925 to Helen and Vincent Gumbleton.

World War II Vet. Certified Public Accountant, Partner at Purdy, Donovan & Beal, Plante Moran.

Married Marian Knechtges on August 16, 1952--"his love for her was a 1, 000 percent.

Survived by his wife & 7 children, Gerrard Jr. (Rosanne), Michael (Becky), Timothy (Amy), Thomas (Valerie), Peter (Carrie), William (Jeanne), Mary Clare (Jaime) and 14 grandchildren.

Bother to Loretta, Sr. Irene IHM, Bishop Thomas, James, Daniel and the late Vincent Jr., Raymond, John.

Donations may be directed to Pax Christi, Michigan or Angela Hospice, Livonia.

Visitation Wednesday 3-9 p.m. at the A.J. Desmond Funeral Home, 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Owen Catholic Church, 6869 Franklin Rd., Bloomfield Hills.
