Obituary of Glenn Herbert Jahnke

Glenn Jahnke, born in Milwaukee, WI, died on November 5th, 2013 at the age of 86 years in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Gladys, daughter Chris Monroe of Littleton, Colorado, daughter Carolyn (Bob) Moreland of Byron, IL, son Brian (Mirna) Jahnke of Freiburg, Germany, daughter Susan (Tim) Link of Lake Orion, MI, and eight lovely grandchildren.

After serving with the U.S. Navy in WWII, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and later achieved Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant accreditations.

Memorial services and inurnment will be at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Bloomfield Hills, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead for memorials to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
