Harry C. Sherwood

Better Known as "Hi Sherwood"

Age 88 of Lady Lake FL formerly of Mason passed away on Dec. 22, 2017.

Hi was born March 30, 1929 to Clarence and Nellie Sherwood. He was Mason Class of 1947. He was a Korean War Veteran and was the last original member of the Dansville-Mason V.F.W.

He was a concrete mason and worked for Bigard Drilling Co. for many years.

Hi was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, mushrooming and in his later years loved to play the slots!

Hi is survived by Julia his wife of 31 years. Children: Judy (Sonney) Warner, Tom (Roseanne) Sherwood, Nancy (Terry) Martin, and Zarada (Scott) Larive. Step Children: Tom (Laura) Prowdley, Jeff (Julie) Prowdley, and Tim Prowdley. Hi has 23 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren that he loved and cherished, as well as many, many nephews and nieces. Hi was preceded in death by his son Freddie Sherwood, his sister Helen Dayton and his brothers Carl and Ervin Sherwood.

There will be a Full Honors Memorial, Saturday January 6, 2018 from 11:30 - 12 and a Celebration of his life following from 12-4 at the Mason V.F.W. Post 1243 Hull Rd. Mason Mi 48854
