Hayden Landrum Bobo, Jr.

Hayden Landrum Bobo Jr., age 76, of Taylor, MI, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 8, 1949, he was the beloved son of the late Hayden Landrum Bobo Sr. and the late Mary Ann Bobo. Hayden proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a man who truly appreciated life's simple pleasures, whether he was spending a beautiful day at Belle Isle, enjoying a good hot dog, or settling in for one of his favorite naps. An avid golfer and bowler, Hayden also brought joy to many through his talent for playing the trumpet. He was a passionate, lifelong fan of Detroit and U of M sports, always cheering on his favorite teams. Above all, he was a devoted family man whose legacy of love will live on forever.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Nancy Bobo. He was the proud father of his children, Annamarie Bobo (Blake), Julie Cutting (Greg), Steven Cutting, Scott Cutting (Gina), Jeffrey Bobo, and Brian Bobo.

He was the cherished grandfather of Sami, Logan, Percy, Alyssa, Jerrica, Cooper, Gracie, Nate, Hayden, Jake, and Adam; and the doting great-grandfather of Landon and Lakeland.

He is also survived by his brothers, Frank Bobo (Marcee), Dave Bobo (Vicki), Mark Bobo (Peggy), and Richard Bobo. As well as his sisters in law, Diane Bandemer (Donald), Janet Hamlin (Robert), Kris Chernavage (Peter). He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Anna Bobo.

A visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Nardin Park United Methodist Church, located at 29887 W Eleven Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336.
