Obituary of Helen Zissis Simpson

Helen Zissis Simpson Age 88, died peacefully on January 5, 2016.

Beloved teacher and friend to many. Helen is predeceased by her former husband Dr. Gordon Simpson. A devoted teacher for over 35 years, Helen was dedicated to her students. Her motto to her students, be all you can be, if you believe in yourself, you can make a difference. Helen volunteered at many organizations and churches, passionately supporting causes dear to her heart. An independent woman, she always looked her best, not wanting to be a burden to anyone.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, Grosse Pointe Farms. Instate at 11:30 am, Mass at 12 noon.
