James "Bernie" Hawkins Age 95, July 4, 2013.
Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Cherished dad of Evelyn (Charles) Rosciam, Barbara (Timothy) Dobson, James (Maureen), George (Reina), Lynnette and David Hawkins. Grandfather of Sheri, Eric, Jeff, Gail, Denise, Mollee and Ellie. Great grandfather of 9. Loving brother of Betty Sipes, Ellie Tikka and the late William Maurice Hawkins. Dear friend of Marilyn Matz.
James is a Guiness World Record holder for the Most Durable Ice Hockey Player. He played hockey for over 80 years on organized leagues and coached youth hockey.
