Janie Sanders, age 84, died May 7, 2010. She was a long-time resident of Clawson, MI, loving mother of Carol Pharr, and loving aunt of Dean (Zan) Oliver. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie Ann and Orvis Oliver of Madison Heights, MI. No memorial service at this time. Ms. Sanders graduated from University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work, and served in the mental health and many other fields over her long career. She was an avid reader, writer, and poet, composing thousands of poems during her life. If desired, donations to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility in Lapeer, MI, will be appreciated.
