Obituary of Jessica Cendrowski

Jessica Cendrowski, (nee Kornowski), passed away peacefully on January 25, 2015. Jessica married her husband, Eugene, on February 11th and was just shy of celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They shared a wonderful tender life together and were blessed to travel and share many enjoyable moments.

Jessica could sing beautifully and in her early twenties sang with the Don Large Chorus in Detroit. Jessica had a "green thumb" and grew beautiful gardens. She was often in the garden from early morning until dusk and would eagerly share her knowledge and plant clippings with others. Jessica was also a talented artist and teacher in oils and watercolor and specialized in watercolor sketches of homes.

Jessica could be best described as a feisty, lovable, jubilant, young at heart, wife, mom, gramma and friend. Jessica is survived by her husband, Eugene, her children Cathy (Ron) Dueweke, Steve (Stacey) and Ken (Barb); grandchildren, Ben, Dan and Joey; Emilia and Max; Eric and Alex. She will be sorely missed and has touched the hearts of all who knew her. A funeral mass is scheduled for Noon on February 7, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc Church in St. Clair Shores with visitation starting at 11:30. The family would like to thank all the dedicated compassionate caregivers/friends that have touched all of our lives at Sunrise Assisted Living on Mack Ave.
