John "Jack" Allard

John "Jack" Allard, age 92, of Novi, died April 28 in Livonia. Born to Julia and Louis Allard.

Jack graduated from University of Detroit Jesuit High School in 1949. He went on to found Century Tool and Gage with his business partner Gerald Cummings in 1974 and served as its president. 

Jack married Joanne Erb in 1949. He is survived by his wife, sons John (Stephanie) and Charles, daughter Julie (Tom), grandchildren John (Jennie), Amy (Mike), Sarah (Jim), Bob (Jennie), and Donovan. Jack also leaves behind five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
