Smith, John Edward - of Mt Morris - age 80, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 peacefully at home. Cremation has taken place.
Born John Edward Smith on April 13,1941 in Flint Michigan, son of the late Elton and Sylvia (Rogers)Smith
John retired out of General Motors. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family.John was survived by his sister Mary, son Brad (Deanna) Smith, stepdaughters Heidi Harsen, Melissa (Clint) Wilson, and Angela Harsen. Grandchildren Aaron (Sara), Samantha (Nathan), Tiffany, Tonia, Andrew, LJay, Ashlie, Kaye (Jessie), Dustin, Kurt, Kyle, and Logan.
Great grandchildren Jase, Gabby, Nathan, William, Timothy, Andrea, Jonathan, Michael, Wyatt, Spencer, Adleigh, Jaxon, and Ryker, and dear life long friends Don and Brenda McKenzie
He was preceded in death by his wife Lynda, parents Elton and Sylvia, sons Johnny and Curtis and grandchildren Amanda, and Timothy, brothers Dick, and James.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
