Obituary of John P Strainovici

John P Strainovici Passed away on June 1, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born August 30, 1927 in Detroit Michigan to John and Elizabeth Strainovici. John was a well known local sculptor and painter. He was a member of the Dancing Cuckoos. He worked his entire career at General Motors Corporation as a commercial artist. John married his beloved wife Lois Waller in 1991. John is survived by his son Jay Strainovici and wife Sue, son Peter Strainovici and wife Leanne, step-daughter Kendolyn Belt and husband Craig, step-son Jack Waller and wife Marjie, step-son Dan Waller, step-son John Rupkey and wife Carrie; grandchildren Katie Lynn, John Samuel, Quinn Thomas, and Ava Marie Strainovici; Garrett Matthews; Kendra Lois, Jack T and many neices and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his wife Lois; sister and brother-in-law Ann and George Bradshaw. A celebration of John's life is planned for August 30th, 2016.
