Joseph S. Choike, age 87, February 26, 2011. Beloved husband, of 57 years, of the late Wanda. Loving father of Laura (John) Polk, Diane Jansen and the late Kathryn MacDonald. Grandfather of Matthew (Kelly) MacDonald, Julie, Adam, Jill, Mary and Anna Polk, and Todd Jansen. Great grandfathter of 3. Mr. Choike honorably served in WWII as a Staff Sergeant, and was awarded 3 Bronze Stars, 1 Silver Star and a Purple Heart. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 10am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 15889 E. Sever Mile Rd., Detroit, MI 48205.
