Josephine Brooks

Born on June 12, 1932 in Detroit, MI, passed away on February 15, 2012. She resided in Farmington Hills, MI.

Josephine is survived by her daughter Lois and sons Steven and Michael (Gloria), her granddaughter Tiffany Piro (Jason), grandson Robert and great-granddaughter, Abigail Piro. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Walker (Robert) and Rosalee Conradson (John). Josephine is preceded in death by her sister Jane Patton, her parents Gaitano and Freda Serra and her former husband, James Brooks. Josephine brought strength and inspiration to those who knew and loved her. She retired from Credit Union One after 23 years of service and was a 16 year cancer survivor. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor.

Visitation at 10 am and a memorial service at 11 am on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home (15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, MI 48154), followed by a luncheon.
