Kathryn R. Mystian

Kathryn R. Mystian of Highland, Michigan, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026.

To know Kathy was to love her. Her beautiful smile could light up an entire room, and her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. Kathy’s beauty on the outside was matched only by the beautiful person she was within. She loved her family and friends deeply, was always willing to lend a helping hand, and embraced life with joy, laughter, and love. A true social butterfly, Kathy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. She was truly one of a kind and will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Beloved mother of Kim Mystian and the late Kevin Mystian. Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Julia, Kaine, and Karley, and proud great-grandmother of Kevin and Sadie. Dear sister of Barb Farnsworth. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and many siblings.

Kathy especially enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, and LCR, along with many other hobbies. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 26th at the vfw in highland 3200 duck lake road from 4 to 8 pm!
