In Loving Memory of Kenneth Neal
December 5, 1949 – October 18, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Neal, a beloved husband, father, brother, musician, artist, and friend. Kenneth will be remembered for his creative spirit, his love of music, his remarkable talents, and the lasting impression he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Kenneth was married to the love of his life, Melanie, for 38 wonderful years. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories, love, and companionship. He was a proud father to Kenneth Michael Neal Jr. and Michael Logan, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
A gifted musician and true artist at heart, Kenneth had a passion for creating things with his own hands. He made his own guitars, putting his creativity and love of music into every instrument. He worked as a kit-cutter for models, a craft that reflected his patience, skill, and attention to detail. Of all his interests, model airplanes held a particularly special place in his heart. His love for building and creating was a reflection of the unique person he was.
Kenneth's life was defined by his talents, his passions, and the love he shared with those around him. Whether through music, art, model airplanes, or simply the moments spent with family and friends, he left behind memories that will be cherished for years to come.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Melanie; his sons, Kenneth Michael Neal Jr. and Michael Logan; his sister, Jan Schumaker; his sister-in-law, Dee Dee Boward; and all the family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Llyod Neal and Helen Repine, and his brother, Bob Neal.
Though his time with us has come to an end, the music he created, the things he built, and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain a treasured part of the lives he touched.
Rest peacefully, Kenneth. May your spirit soar as freely as the model airplanes you loved, and may your music play on in the hearts of those who will never forget you.
