Lawrence John Bulmer, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Jack," passed away following a short fight with cancer on May 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 8, 1938, Jack was the beloved son of Lawrence William Bulmer and Martha B. Bulmer (Snyder).

A true product of the Motor City, Jack was a man of many trades and a tireless worker. Throughout his life, his career spanned various industries; he worked at Ford Motor Company, spent time in the construction industry, and traveled the country as a truck driver before proudly owning and operating his own trucking company.

Jack's roots in Detroit shaped his lifelong passions. He was an avid car enthusiast who held a deep and enduring love for the Ford and Lincoln brands. Beyond the open road and classic automobiles, Jack was a devoted student of history, possessing a profound interest in World War Il and aviation.

Family was a central part of Jack's life. He is survived by sister Susann of Westland, MI and his children: Wade, Tracy, and Todd (Kelli); his grandchildren, Brent (Elise) and Brandon (Jessica); his great-grandson, Asher. Jack will also be remembered by his former wife, Victoria Rashke of California. He was preceded in death by his brothers, David, Michael, and Robert; his sister, Janice; and his former wives, Marlene (mother to Wade and Tracy) and Thelma (mother to Todd).

Jack's resilient spirit, his deep appreciation for history and automobiles, and the legacy he leaves with his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
