Mary M. Lowe

Mary Margaret Tegge- Lowe (Perkins) aka Grandma Bears. Born at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit on 04/11/1941, from Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Lived and raised her family for 62 years in Wayne Michigan. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on 05/06/2026.

Daughter of Margaret and Marvin Slayden of Garden City and William A Perkins of Austin Texas. Sister of Robert and Cindy Perkins and Carolita and Lou Fering, and beloved cousin Nancy (Bruce) Niezgocki. Mother to Mary Kwapich and Gary (Marty) Tegge. Grandmother to Leah (Tony), Andie, Terri, Gary Jr, William, Kimberly And Angela. Great Grandmother to Lilly, Bella, Noelle, Joelle, Devin, Lilly, Kristian, Caleb, Drake, Mariah, DJ, Ciara, Kenyan. Great Great Grandmother to Saturn.

She drove school bus for 40 years for Wayne Westland School district, retiring in 2006. She loved her friends and her church. And was fond of collecting cloths and her Bear collection.

A Visitation will take place at the R.G. and G.R. Harris Funeral Home (Cremation Society of Michigan) 31551 Ford Rd,, Garden City, Monday, May 11, 2026 from 11:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 12 Noon.
