Obituary of Patrik M Buckley

Patrik Michael Buckley passed away on June 13, 2021 at the age of 34 years.

Patrik was an unforgettable force in many people’s lives. He spent his early life in the Dexter/Ann Arbor area. He attended Ann Arbor Academy where he made several life-long friends. His quest for creative experiences later drew him to Seattle, Hamtramck and Detroit where he met many new friends along the way. Patrik was deeply empathetic and often counselled many of his friends who were going through difficult times.

Patrik was always original in his music, humor, photography, art and writing.
Patrik could often be found playing in bands with friends and creating his own experimental music. His sense of humor was irreverent, penetrating, sometimes uncomfortable, also innocent and kind.

Patrik loved animals and rescued several cats from local shelters. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal shelter.

Patrik is survived by his mother: Julie Farrell, his father: Mike Buckley, his sister: Veronika Simpson and his nieces: Ayla and Ellis Simpson.

A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Patrik's life is planned for Sunday June 27,2021 in Dexter, MI at Hudson Mills Metropark (8801 N. Territorial Rd, Dexter, MI 48130) at the Pavilion B, HM Activity Center from Noon to 3 PM.
