Obituary of Ralph J Gregory

Ralph James Gregory passed away at the age of fifty-eight (58) at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit on January 30, 2018. He was born on May 11, 1959 in Monroe, Michigan, along with his twin, Peter Gregory. He was a proud veteran, and served in the United States Navy as a SeaBee (Construction Battalion) in 1980. He had the opportunity to serve in Washington, Mississippi, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico. After being discharged, he spent the duration of his life in Detroit, Michigan, where he worked in home improvement. Ralph (ex-wife, Patrina Cottingham-Gregory) was blessed with a total of six (6) children, Mark, Eric, Carlos, Rafael, Corey, and Chanel, whom bore him a total of twenty-three (23) grand-children. His father, James E. Gregory preceded him in death, in 1987. His mother, Elaine F. Gregory, grieves her sons death, at the age of almost 91. He was a beloved father, son, twin, brother, uncle and grandfather to many, and will forever be held in their hearts with the utmost significance and love. He also leaves behind, two (2) brothers, Peter (twin),(spouse, Jackie)and Mark (younger brother), (2) nieces, Mia & Ariel Gregory. It was evident throughout his lifetime that he was the epitome of a family-oriented, courageous, and selfless individual. May his soul rest in peace.
