Obituary of Richard Pooler

Richard Joe Pooler of Sterling Heights, Michigan. age 72, passed away suddenly of heart complications on Tuesday February 2nd at 3:40pm at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Richard (Dickie Joe) was born July 3rd, 1943 to Robert Vincent and Roberta Pooler (Bourjaily) in Hazel Park, Michigan. He is survived by his daughters Cynthia Lynn Melchert and Lori Diana Pooler. Sister Patricia Lorene Toth. The love of his life Candace Millen and her son Sage Millen. Grandchildren; Tara Gillen, Jason Richard Sheets, Amberlei Hobbs, and Mya Melchert. Nieces and nephews; Debbie Ross, Bob Toth, Lori DeLong, Cindy Coomer, Ron Toth, Kal Toth, Dan Toth.

A great man to his loved ones, we all have so many wonderful memories; special handshakes, special kisses, a magic bag filled with "treasures" when he visited. Each of his grandchildren thought they were his favorite because he had such a way of making everyone feel special. He was Superman!! A prankster, a joker and a lover of coffee and cribbage. He was loved so very much.
