Our beloved father was a man who found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially hunting, fishing, listening to Elvis, enjoying a cold one while watching Michigan football or the Detroit Lions, and making memories with the people he loved most. He was one of the hardest-working and most selfless men, always putting others before himself and giving so much to the people he loved.

His greatest pride and blessings were his daughters and grandchildren. He loved his daughters dearly, and his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. They brought him laughter, happiness, and a kind of love that words can never fully describe.

The memories, stories, and love he shared with his family will be treasured forever.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his love will live on through his children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

He is survived by his daughters, Renee (Ryan, Caitlin, Austin, and Mason), Rhonda (Bill, Mikayla, Jordan, Jace, Billy, Mia and great-granddaughter Paisley), Megan (Mark, Shaelyn, Riley, and Hayden); his sisters, Cherryl and Kim (John); his brother, Troy; his loving partner, Heidi; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

We will think of him every time we cast a fishing line, gather with family, hear an Elvis song, or cheer on the Lions. We hope heaven has endless fishing spots, beautiful days on the water, Elvis playing in the background, and a cold one waiting for you.

Until we meet again, Dad, you will forever be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
