Sharon Kallmeyer will be remembered for the love she had for her family that she showed in many ways. One was how she honored family traditions with her grandchildren over many years. A highlight was the crepes she made for Christmas morning breakfast. Also, on the 4th of July she and Bob liked to have a BBQ with the family, then sit in the front yard and pass out small trinkets such as glow lights, stickers, bracelets, and small American Flags to kids walking to the fireworks in Clawson with their parents. She loved her garden and could make any plant thrive no matter where it was planted. Her miniature dachshund Daisy was her constant companion who she loved so much, often carrying her around. The love was returned with face kisses. Sharon had a talent for knitting. She knit many blankets for family members and new babies that will be cherished forever. Bob and Sharon often shopped together for clothes and home décor. Their house was decorated for every holiday. During winter, Sharon anticipated spring for the opportunity to go for a walk with Bob and Daisy at the Rochester Municipal Park. Recently she was content sitting on the front porch and greeting the neighbors going by. During football season, Sharon liked to watch the Lions games and text family members who were watching the game at the same time. It was fun cheering with her, even by phone. As a mother she was a constant fan and supporter of her son Jeff and daughter Sue, always happy to share their good news, bad news, or otherwise mundane things like their new haircut or outfit. She will be missed by all who love her. There will be no funeral service. Sharon will be interned at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
