Obituary of Terrence Butler

Terrence Butler, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at the age of 59 years. Terry attended St. Alphonsus High School and received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education at Wayne State University. He traveled extensively, living in Europe and India for years. On his return to Detroit, Terry began teaching in Detroit Public Schools, and found his true calling at Western International High School in Detroit, teaching English, History and French. Terry was also the Athletic Director at Western, as well as the building union representative. He will be missed by his immediate family, as well as his Western High School family. There will be a Mass said in Terrys name this fall at St. Alphonsus in Dearborn.
